Adorable: First grade teacher lets students decorate her dress
ShaRee Castlebury is a first-grade teacher in Lawton, OK, who wanted to do something special for her students at the end of the 2016 school year. So she came up with a genius idea: she let her students decorate a plain white dress with markers, and she wore it on the last day of school.
The children were excited to help with the project, and created intricate drawings with markers.
ShaRee plans to do this every year for her students as a way to remember the time they had together. “I fall in love with them and then you have to push them on and I wanted to do something to hold onto that,” she told a local newspaper.
It's certainly a conversation piece! This is one teacher who really goes the extra mile.
