Prisoner devises sick plan to murder Justin Bieber

Dana Martin, a convicted murderer, was so obsessed by a teen superstar that he devised a brutal scheme to have him murdered. Though Martin remains behind bars, the plot is enough to send a chill down your spine.

In 2000, the American was sent to prison for raping and murdering a 15-year-old girl. While in solitary confinement, Martin, now 49, soon developed a Justin Bieber obsession; he listened to his songs for hours on end, tattooed a picture of the singer on his thigh, and wrote hundreds of fan letters. When various scandals put paid to the teen idol's clean image while the prisoner's fan mail remained unanswered, Martin's love for Bieber quickly turned to hate. It was at this point that Dana Martin decided to kill Justin Bieber.

As Martin was still incarcerated, he contacted a former fellow inmate called Mark Staake. The plan was now in place: Staake and his nephew were to ambush the 23-year-old pop star after a concert in New York and strangle him with a necktie — this was how Martin killed his first murder victim. Afterwards, the hit-men were to cut off Bieber's testicles and send them to him as a trophy.

Yet before this crazy plan could be realized, both men were seized at a border checkpoint. In the trunk of their car, officials found the garden shears intended for cutting away Bieber's family jewels. Even though his murder plot had been foiled, Martin touched upon the episode during a disturbing interview with "Details" magazine: "It isn't just so people will know who I am. It's because Justin changed, and that made me angry."

"He's an attractive kid, everybody knows that. Would I go to bed with him? Yeah. He's legal, so probably," he continued. "I've written to the district attorney saying that I'll plead guilty — I just want to have a sit-down with Justin Bieber. And they just won't do it. To them, that's just bizarre."

The murderer's behavior is more than bizarre. Of course, this obviously sick and dangerous man will never be allowed to get close to the star he wanted to castrate. This has nothing to do with fan love — let's hope that Dana Martin won't ever be set free.
