Woman threatens to kill her son if the father doesn’t answer his phone
The first image that springs to mind when we think about a mother alone with her small child is one of playfulness and nurturing because, luckily, that is what most mothers do for their kids. However, we hear about cases where things turn out very differently. Sadly, there are parents out there who simply aren't fit to be alone with their own children.
Warning: this article contains images some readers may find disturbing.
Nareumon Jampasert, a 28-year-old mom from Thailand, suspected her husband of cheating. To confirm her suspicions, she decided the best way was to use what her husband most loves in this world: their son.
One day, Nareumon's husband, 32-year-old Jakrit Saisupan, had been at work longer than usual and was not picking up his phone. To get back at her husband, Nareumon used her cellphone to record a video of herself strangling the couple's one-year-old son with a rope.
She brutally threw the defenseless little boy on to the bed and said to her husband: "You only think of other people. This is your son. This is a rope. Look at him, he is not dead, I haven't killed him yet. I'll take him to die somewhere. If you don't come to take him, you'll have to wait and see what happens today if you don't pick up the phone."

When he saw the disturbing video, Jakrit immediately sent it to his mom and sister, who shared it on social media to attract the attention of police. When officers arrived at the apartment they arrested Nareumon and made sure her son was not hurt. Luckily, the boy did not have life-threatening injuries.
The same cannot be said of the psychological wounds. The traumatizing experience may cost Nareumon custody of her child and could even result in jail time. In an interview, a tearful Nareumon said: "I wanted to hurt my husband so I picked up the baby."
A court now has to decide whether this mother is fit to see her own child or not. No matter what the outcome, we hope the little boy never has to go through anything like this again.
