19-year-old gets funny note from her neighbor who always has loud sex
New York student, Jenna Levine, couldn't get a wink of sleep in her dorm room at Syracuse University. The reason? Her neighbor's boisterous moaning and squeaky bedsprings were resounding through their paper-thin walls, keeping Jenna awake. When the action in the next room went too far for Jenna, she slid a note for her love-crazed neighbor under the door:
Easily the best note I've ever had written to me... This is why I have hope for humanity. pic.twitter.com/yoH3srgKX8

Please have sex a little more quietly please. Some of us are trying to nap and not be reminded of how alone I am… feel free to make all the love you want. Just please, make it nasty at a lower volume. Thank you!"
Just a little while later she heard a rustling sound. To Jenna's surprise her neighbor was pushing a note back to her through the slit under her door. Attached to a chocolate bar came the following lines:

I’m so so incredibly sorry about that. I didn’t realise how loud I was being, and ya know, sometimes having loud sex is low key, kinda hot, but obviously at your cost, which I apologise so sincerely for. I’m so so sorry, hope this hasn’t been occurring too often, and thanks so much for the incredible and hilarious card. I will for sure try to keep it nasty at a significantly lower level. And hey, don’t worry, you’re not alone forever. The right person will come along when the time comes. I was single for 18 years. Haha. Once again, I apologise so sincerely and deeply.
Sorry, Room 338."
Jenna was not expecting that. "I never thought they would actually write back. At first I was nervous they were gonna murder me but my they were really good sports about it," she said. The 19-year-old posted the brief exchange on Twitter, where over 120,000 users have already had a good laugh about it. Well, then... Here's to a good neighborhood!
